Operational Headquarters – Pordenone
This is the headquarters of the Children and Autism Foundation where the Diagnostic, Rehabilitation and parent training Services are delivered. The Centre, which is around 350 square metres in size, is equipped with rehabilitation rooms supplied with one-way mirrors and video-recording equipment:
- This enables the rehabilitation work to be observed by clinical teams and family members
- This also enables the activities undertaken to be monitored and clinical materials to be stored,
- This facilitates the evaluation of treatment efficiency and progress.
Furthermore, there is a surgery for clinical evaluations and neuropsychiatric visits, which is also equipped with video-recording equipment, a welcoming waiting room, a large workshop where the clinical team can plan their activities and create educational material, special guarded archives for the clinical files, bathrooms and a changing room-cloakroom for users and operators.
Finally, there is a special room for training activities with a maximum capacity of 50 seats which can be audio-visually linked to the rehabilitation rooms.
The Centre is characterised by communication support systems and rooms which are structured to help people with autism to orientate themselves and move around. On the upper floor, at no. 4, there are the Administrative and Management offices.
